Purify

Privacy Policy

The short version: Purify runs on your PC and sends us nothing. The shop keeps the smallest record it can, which is what it takes to sell you a copy and let you download it again later.

Last updated 19 October 2026.

The app itself

No account, no sign-in, no licence check, no telemetry, no usage statistics, no crash reports. Purify does not ask who you are and has nowhere to send an answer.

The only network request it ever makes is the update check, and only when you press the button: it asks this site for a small file and compares version numbers. That request reaches our host the way any web request does, and it carries nothing about you or your PC.

This site

No analytics, no advertising, no tracking pixels, and no cookies of ours. The fonts, the screenshots and the video are served from this site itself rather than from other companies, so simply loading the page does not tell anyone else that you were here.

Dodo Payments sets what it needs on its own checkout page, once you go there. That page is theirs, and their privacy policy covers it.

What we keep when you buy

Your email address, the payment id, the amount, the currency, the date, and whether the payment later succeeded, was refunded or is in dispute. It is kept in Cloudflare's KV store: one record filed under the payment id, and an index by email so the Already bought it page can find your order again.

That is the whole record. We use it exactly twice: to hand you the download, and to give you the links again if you lose them. Nothing in it is used to profile you, and nothing in it is sold.

What we never see

Card numbers, bank details, addresses, phone numbers. Payment is taken by Dodo Payments as the merchant of record, so the card goes to them and stops there.

The download link

After payment the site hands you a link carrying a signed token. It is tied to your payment, it expires after 24 hours, and it cannot be guessed. When it has expired, the Already bought it page issues a fresh one.

Server logs

Cloudflare hosts the site and the downloads, and keeps standard request logs: the address a request came from, the time, and what was asked for. That is normal for any site, it is used for security and to stop abuse, and it is not used to follow you around the web.

Who else is involved

Two companies, and only because a shop cannot run without them: Cloudflare for hosting the site and the files, and Dodo Payments for taking the money. We do not sell your details, we do not share them for advertising, and there is nobody else.

Having it deleted

Reply to your receipt from Dodo Payments and ask. We delete the order record, and say so plainly: once it is gone, the site can no longer find your purchase, so the download links cannot be issued again. If all you need is the link again, ask for that instead and nothing has to be deleted.

Children

The shop is not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly keep anything about anyone under 13.

Changes to this page

If what we keep ever changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top moves. Questions about any of it: reply to your receipt from Dodo Payments.
